Boy drowns in swimming pool at tourism site

At around 5 p.m., an employee of the Hon Rom 1 tourism site found Nguyen Dac Tuan Vu floating underwater. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

As of Friday morning, Phan Thiet police were still gathering evidence to confirm the boy's cause of death.

Vu and his family booked into their room at the tourism site Thursday noon.

Back in April, a 11-year-old Japanese boy had also died in a swimming pool at a tourism site in Phan Thiet. The case is being investigated as a potential manslaughter case.
