Held alongside the Annual Congress of the Radiology Society of Ho Chi Minh City 2025, the event spotlighted three innovations: the Magnetom Flow Platform, Somatom Pro.Pulse, and Medrad Centargo.
These systems are designed to elevate diagnostic accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable healthcare delivery. The Medrad Centargo is Bayer's an automated contrast injection solution that shortens turnaround times between scans and reduces manual steps for technologists. This allows medical staff to focus more on patient care. Featuring a flexible triple-syringe design (1 saline, 2 contrast media) and advanced piston-based technology, Centargo ensures precise dose control and consistent image quality, a critical factor for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

The Magnetom Flow is Siemens Healthineers' next-generation 1.5T MRI system, built on a fully scalable platform with a helium-independent, sealed magnet design. Utilizing just 0.7 liters of liquid helium, the DryCool technology eliminates the need for refills, making it a breakthrough in environmentally responsible imaging.
Powered by AI-driven capabilities like Deep Resolve, Magnetom Flow enhances diagnostic precision with deep learning-based image reconstruction, improving image quality while reducing scan times by up to 88%. It also features myExam Autopilot and myExam Assist, which automate scanning protocols for over 90% of anatomical regions, helping standardize image quality and reduce repeat scans.
Particularly valuable in neurology and oncology, Magnetom Flow offers detailed imaging for early detection of conditions such as stroke, neurodegeneration, brain tumors, liver cancer, and breast cancer. Its noise reduction technology ensures a quieter, more comfortable experience for patients.

The Somatom Pro.Pulse is Siemens Healthineers' high-end Dual Source CT system, equipped with two X-ray tubes and two detectors. This provides outstanding temporal resolution of 86 milliseconds, enabling clinicians to capture high-quality images even in patients with high or irregular heart rates.
The system integrates ZeeFree, an AI-based algorithm that automatically corrects cardiac motion artifacts, and Best Phase, which identifies the optimal cardiac phase for clearer coronary imaging.
Somatom Pro.Pulse also enhances tissue characterization through Dual Energy CT, offering up to 30% higher spectral separation, which supports more accurate assessment of lesions, particularly in oncology.
Additionally, the low kV protocol can reduce contrast media volume by up to 49%, making it especially beneficial for patients with renal impairment, children, the elderly, or those at risk of adverse reactions to contrast agents. Fabian Martin Singer, General Manager of Siemens Healthineers Vietnam, remarked at the event that the integration of AI and automation not only improves imaging quality but also reduces clinician workload and streamlines hospital workflows. "Innovations like Magnetom Flow and Somatom Pro.Pulse can be critical in emergency settings, where every second truly matters," he said.
