11 patients in Da Nang were confirmed recovered Sunday evening, bringing Vietnam's Covid-19 recoveries to 816.

Six of the new recoveries were treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital. They were tested negative three times before being discharged.

Five others were treated at the Hoa Vang District Medical Center. The five patients tested negative for the novel coronavirus at least three times, and showed no signs of fever, cough or shortness of breath. One of the recoveries, "Patient 763", has several underlying conditions and still has to undergo hemodialysis. He will continue to undergo treatment at the center.

All 11 recoveries will be quarantined and monitored for 14 days at their home or designated accommodation as per Health Ministry regulations.

Vietnam has gone through three consecutive days without recording a community transmission.

Since July 25, when community transmissions resurfaced in Vietnam, Da Nang has recorded 551 infections.

Vietnam’s Covid-19 tally now stands at 1,049 with 35 fatalities.
