My boyfriend wants to split up with me if I don’t accept his proposal

I’m working as a teacher, while his job is related to electricity. Recently, he has been continuously urging me to get married, citing his age and his family’s desire to see him settle down as the reasons.

I’m not really ready yet, and I have told him so many times. He eventually said that I had to choose to either accept his proposal or split up with him, as he had waited for a while.
