Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong plans to show off his spring-summer collection in Sydney, Australia, on May 10.

Cuong, one of Vietnam's top names, said the event will feature 50 models, half each Vietnamese and foreign.

But Cuong refused to reveal anything more, saying, "Everything will be kept secret until the last minute; certainly there will be a surprise for the audience."

With their sophisticated stage designs, his fashion shows are among the most anticipated on the Vietnamese fashion scene.

The show will be organized together with businessman Pham Huy Can, marking their 14th collaboration for private fashion shows.

Can said organizing the show would involve more challenges than domestic shows, including visa procedures.

Cuong has organized shows in Los Angeles in the U.S. and around Vietnam. The 38-year-old studied at the University of Industrial Fine Arts in Hanoi and pursued a degree in fashion in France.
