US fashion mag Harper’s Bazaar has included two designs from Phuong My in its list of the 10 most romantic red wedding dresses.

Phuong My’s creations and that of others like Valentino, Vera Wang and Giambattista Valli were introduced as gorgeous gowns that will make people re-think all ivory, while inviting luck and wealth to their wedding.

"Structured meets feminine accurately describes the work of new bridal designer Phuong My," said Harper’s Bazaar, introducing the sleek and chic silhouette as a red renaissance, which is "undeniably modern for a celebration of any denomination."

Another head-to-toe tulle design with gloves and hat was also featured in the list released on October 15 as an extravagant "red look" bringing luck for the brides.

These designs are in Phuong My’s collection Espoir, which were introduced at New York Fashion Week Bridal in April 2019.

The collection, inspired by the strength of women, was highlighted in The New York Times besides other renowned fashion houses.

My, born in Vietnam, finished her undergraduate education in fashion design in the U.S. In 2013, she returned to Ho Chi Minh City to develop her career by launching her own brand, Phuong My. The designer caught the eye of international celebrities after she presented her Fall Winter 2019 collection at New York Fashion Week in February this year.

In June 2019, American singer Beyoncé wore a glittering dress with an eye-catching necklace designed by Phuong My to the AFI Awards in Los Angeles.

My has thus far introduced her creations at eight international fashion events, including the Arab Fashion Week, Vancouver Fashion Week and the Tokyo Fashion Fuse Show.
