Vietnamese citizens and expatriates over the age of 18 can both take part in the 2021 National Cultural Heritage Photo Contest held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Photographers may submit both color or monochrome images that were taken within the last two years, have not been exhibited or won prizes in any contest and have not been published in any format.

The contest, themed "Tangible Cultural Heritage in Vietnam", aims to raise public awareness on the importance of preserving cultural heritage, natural values as well as promoting them to international audiences.

The best photos will be displayed at an exhibition, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021 to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.

The Department of Cultural Heritage is accepting entries from now to through Sept. 30. Participants can submit their work via dsvh@bvhttdl.gov.vn or send prints along with a CD/DVD or USB to the ministry's Department of Cultural Heritage at 51 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam.
