According to The Sun, Holland suffered a head injury in a fall on Friday and was treated for a concussion. A woman, believed to be a stunt double, was also taken to hospital via ambulance.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 10:30 a.m. on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford."

"An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care," this person continued.

The Daily Mail reported that while attending a charity fair on Sunday, Holland’s father Dominic confirmed that his son will be away from filming "for a while." Holland was also present at the event but reportedly left early after feeling unwell.

The incident has caused filming of the blockbuster "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" to be suspended, and production could remain on hold for several weeks. The Health and Safety Executive may investigate the mishap.

Now 29, Holland began his career at the age of nine when he enrolled in a dance class and was noticed by a choreographer. He made his film debut in 2012 with "The Impossible." His accolades include a BAFTA Award, and he was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe in 2019.

In June 2015, Holland signed a six-picture deal with Marvel Studios to portray a teenage Peter Parker/Spider-Man. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," set to release in July 2026, will be his fourth solo film as the iconic superhero.
