According to Dimsum Daily, in a series of Instagram clips, Lin recounted how she was caught in a major traffic jam just moments before an important engagement. Despite being dressed in a gown, Lin didn’t hesitate. She swiftly exited her car and began running through the streets, leaving her team scrambling to catch up. Laughing, Lin said in the video: "When there’s traffic, you just have to decisively leave the car and run!"
Her spontaneous sprint has earned praise from fans online, many of whom admired her quick thinking, down-to-earth attitude, and infectious energy. Many also playfully likened her to a "runaway princess."
At 51, Lin graduated from the University of Toronto in 1997 with a double major in Western art history and economics. After returning to Taiwan after graduation, Lin initially intended to pursue a career in fine art, but was turned away due to her lack of a postgraduate degree. Instead, she continued modeling part-time and later worked as an administrative assistant for the Fubon Cultural and Educational Foundation.
Her career took off in 2002, when she appeared in a television advertisement in Hong Kong, which sparked widespread attention. By 2007, Taiwanese media recognized her as the richest model in Taiwan.
