A friend of the couple told the Daily Mail that the billionaire heiress and the athlete "have announced their engagement to friends and family," and celebrated with "a big celebration party."
The engagement comes after a summer where the couple made several public appearances and celebrated together, with Eve being seen at this year’s Olympic Games in Paris, cheering on Charles as he won a gold medal.
The duration of their relationship remains undisclosed.
Eve, 26, graduated from Stanford University in 2021 and was a notable equestrian. In 2019, she was ranked as the fifth-best rider under the age of 25 globally, according to Elle Australia.
She debuted on the runway in 2022 for French fashion label Coperni.
At the time of her father Steve’s death in 2011, his net worth was estimated by Forbes to be US$7 billion.
Charles, 25, participated in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, competing in individual and team jumping events. In 2024, he was part of the British team that clinched the gold medal in show jumping at the Paris Summer Olympics.
