Cho was discovered dead at his home on June 29, with reports indicating that he died from a heart attack, as reported by AllKpop on Sunday.

"He passed away from a heart attack while alone at home, and his mother found him later," MK quoted his official fan cafe as saying on Sunday.
Vocalist Kwon Seo Kyung expressed his shock, saying: "I'm shocked that I can't get my head around it.... Do your favorite music in the sky as much as you want."
Cho gained public recognition after appearing on JTBC's "Phantom Singer 2" in 2017. Recently, he performed at KBS2's Open Concert.
