Speculation about their reunion arose after their divorce proceedings, originally set for June 4, were postponed to June 13.
According to Astillah’s representative, Azmi Mohd Rais, the delay was due to the judge's unavailability.
Astillah also made it clear in her Instagram Stories on June 5 that she has no plans to patch up with Aliff, according to the Straits Times. "I have long moved on and am trying to live peacefully."
She has been declining media interviews to avoid fueling speculation, said Astillah.

Astillah's younger sister, Didi, expressed frustration with the baseless assumptions about the marriage during a TikTok livestream. "How can they reconcile when they don’t even keep in contact with each other? The divorce is inevitable," the 27-year-old remarked.
Astillah, 29, married the 33-year-old Aziz in 2016. They decided to part ways in 2019 following allegations of Aziz’s affairs but eventually reconciled in 2020. The couple has two children together.
Astillah initiated divorce proceedings once more in March following Aziz’s arrest in Malaysia alongside 31-year-old local actress Ruhainies under accusations of khalwat (close proximity), which denotes a situation where a woman and a man, not married to one another or related by blood, are found together in a private setting.
