Some footage in the compilation comes from her primary school performances for International Children’s Day, including an elegant Xinjiang-style dance.

The topic "Precious images of Liu Yifei" trended on Weibo on Thursday, ranking among the platform’s top three searches. Many users praised her for her childhood charm, writing comments such as "She has been beautiful since she was little" and "Her parents raised her with so much care."

Born in Wuhan in 1987, Liu moved to the U.S. at age 10 after her parents’ divorce and later became a U.S. citizen. She rose to fame in the 2003 drama "The Story of a Noble Family" and has since starred in numerous Chinese and Hollywood films. In 2009, she was named one of China’s "New Four Dan" actresses, a title given to the country’s most prominent young stars.

Liu is recognized not only for her beauty but also for her dedication to refining her acting, martial arts, and foreign language skills to pursue international roles. These efforts have enabled her to remain an A-list star for nearly two decades, even as many of her peers have gradually faded from the spotlight.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar China, Liu said she appreciates that being remembered by a nickname holds meaning, such as "Fairy Sister" for her ethereal, innocent roles in the TV series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" and "The Return of the Condor Heroes," or "Golden Rose," derived from her character in the series "The Tale of Rose."

Beyond acting, Liu serves as the face of several luxury brands and is a regular presence at major fashion events.
