According to Sinchew, conducted at the end of June, the survey results showed Hirosue leading with 128 votes.
Actor Higashide Masahiro, involved with model-actress Karata Erika, followed with 110 votes, while table tennis player Fukuhara Ai, who allegedly had an affair with an unidentified man while married to Taiwanese player Chiang Hung-chieh, was placed in the third place with 103 votes.
Despite the backlash, Hirosue appeared unperturbed at a recent event, where she looked vibrant in a white shirt and jeans and spoke about parenting and fashion. This appearance, however, drew harsh criticism, with some labeling her "immoral" and a "worthless woman who destroys other people’s families and has no right to talk about raising children."
The affair between Hirosue and Shusaku was first exposed in June 2022 by Hirosue’s then-husband, sculptor Jun Izutsu. Before the scandal, Hirosue was frequently seen at Shusaku’s restaurant and with him at a hotel. Initially, both denied the affair but eventually acknowledged it, resulting in divorces from their spouses.
Following the scandal, Hirosue extended a handwritten apology to Shusaku’s wife and children, expressing remorse for the damage caused to both families and citing her own immaturity. Shusaku resigned from his chef position amid the fallout.
Hirosue, 44, first appeared on television in 1995 and gained fame for her role in the Academy Award-winning film "Departures."
Her personal life has been marked by controversy, including two marriages to fashion designer Takahiro Okazawa and Jun and several alleged affairs.
