According to The Star, in an interview with Hong Kong media, Yuen shared memories of her stay in Klang Valley last year, where the film was shot. The actress expressed admiration for the professionalism of the local crew and the warm hospitality she received from the people.

"The weather was great, and the staff members were very hardworking," Yuen recalled. "The people here get along well with each other and don’t alienate you just because you’re from a different country. There’s plenty of good food too."

Yuen added that she seized the opportunity to immerse herself in the country’s rich food culture, enjoying a variety of local delicacies. In a previous interview with Sin Chew Daily, she recalled that the first thing she did upon arriving was enjoy durian, followed by her first taste of asam laksa (a noodle dish in sour fish broth).

She also admitted that her food indulgence led to some weight gain, joking about struggling to fit into a pair of pants that had once been comfortable.

Yuen, 54, was crowned Miss Photogenic at the Miss Hong Kong 1990 pageant and went on to become the first runner-up at the Miss Chinese International 1991 pageant. She made her acting debut in 1991.

Earlier this month, Hong Kong actor Alfred Chung also shared positive feedback about Malaysia, describing it as an ideal choice for a second home, citing its affordability, cleanliness, and the warmth of its people.
