According to The Star, in a video posted on Xiaohongshu, Chung shared that she was in Malaysia as a guest on the variety show "Beauty Fafa." After filming wrapped, she headed to the Jalan Alor street in Kuala Lumpur for dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. Her table was laden with vegetables, grilled stingray, satay, and the street’s famous grilled chicken wings.

Back at her hotel, Chung was surprised by her staff with a towering roti tisu—a crisp, paper-thin Malaysian dessert. Laughing as she tore off a piece, she asked, "How do you eat this?" before taking a bite and declaring it "delicious."

Fans flooded the comments with praise, delighted to see her enjoying local food. Many also complimented her youthful appearance.

"I’d believe her if she said she was in her 20s," one user wrote.

Another commented: "She eats so well. I really enjoy watching her eat!"

Chung, 44, first rose to fame in 2001 as part of the Cantopop duo Twins alongside Charlene Choi, before transitioning into acting with several box-office hits. In 2008, following the unauthorized distribution of private photographs involving her and Hong Kong actor Edison Chen, she took a break from the spotlight for more than a year before resuming her career.
