According to Pinkvilla, the image was taken at a gathering on Jan. 25 at the residence of Taiwanese TV producer Wang Wei Zhong, whose wife, Lin Hui Jing, posted the photo online.
"I loved seeing your warm smile. I remember your beauty and kindness. These are the best memories," Lin’s accompanying message read. "I miss you so much. We will meet again."
Hsu, renowned for her roles in popular series such as "Meteor Garden," "Mars," and "Summer’s Desire," died at the age of 49. Her death was confirmed by her family in a statement released by her sister, Taiwanese host Dee Hsu, on Feb. 3.
There was initial speculation about her death following a Facebook post, which many doubted due to Hsu’s seemingly good health in latest public appearances. Subsequent leaked medical reports later revealed that while in Japan, the actress had missed two critical opportunities for medical intervention. Her family later returned her ashes to Taiwan.
Hsu and DJ Koo’s relationship first captured media interest back in 1998, after they met when DJ Koo visited Taiwan to promote his music and appeared on the entertainment show "100% Entertainment," hosted by the Hsu sisters.
Hsu, who had been an admirer of DJ Koo, once expressed a desire to marry him.
Their relationship was interrupted in 2000 due to a dating ban from DJ Koo’s management agency, but they reignited their romance following Hsu’s divorce from Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei.
