On Monday, Yen posted a series of photos on Instagram, including one with his 30-year-old son, captioned: "Happy birthday to my son Jeff."
In another image, he poses beside Wang, who is holding a bouquet of flowers. Yen wears the same blue shirt layered under a red sweater in both photos, suggesting the two celebrations took place on the same day.
While Jeff Yen’s exact birthday has not been publicly confirmed, Yen, 62, previously posted birthday wishes for him on April 15, 2019. Meanwhile, Wang celebrated her 44th birthday on April 21 this year.
To mark the occasion, Yen also posted more photos of Wang, including travel snapshots, writing: "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife! You are a shining star, heart and soul in the family, you are the most fun, talented, passionate, amazing super woman!!! Love you always!!"
Yen met his first wife, Hong Kong advertising executive Leung Zing Ci, in 1990. The couple secretly wed in the U.S. in Nov. 1993, but the marriage lasted less than a year. After their divorce, Leung discovered she was pregnant and gave birth to Jeff in 1995.
The action star then met Wang, who was crowned Miss Chinese Toronto in 2000, at a dinner event in 2003. They began dating shortly afterward and married within three months, according to Prestige magazine. The couple has since welcomed two children together.
A celebrated figure in Asian and global cinema, Yen has built a four-decade career with standout roles in "Hero," "Kill Zone (SPL)," "14 Blades," "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," and the globally acclaimed "Ip Man" series. He has confirmed plans to return to the screen with "Ip Man 5" and "Flash Point 2."
