Hong Kong’s news outlet Dimsum Daily reports that Laurinda will co-star with Chinese actor Ci Sha, who gained prominence following his role in the 2023 film "Creation of The Gods." Leaked behind-the-scenes photos reveal Laurinda and Ci Sha enjoying ice cream on a city street while filming, where Laurinda sports a bright yellow top and denim overalls, exuding a youthful and lively energy.

Further details about the film are still pending.

This film represents Laurinda’s first major role as a protagonist, although she previously appeared in "Heroes of Dunhuang" alongside her husband, actor Shawn Dou.

Currently active as a socialite and businesswoman, Laurinda, 33, is a daughter of Stanley Ho and his third wife Ina Chan. Forbes estimates Chan’s net worth at approximately US$1 billion.

Laurinda married Dou in Bali in April last year in a lavish event that cost millions.

Dou, 36, first made his mark in the acting world with his role in "Under the Hawthorn Tree" directed by Zhang Yimou. His filmography includes notable titles such as "Dangerous Liaisons," "Time To Love," and "Princess Agents."
