Dortmund do not bring the strongest squad to Hanoi as some of their players are competing in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but they still boasted impressive wins in their previous friendlies, defeating Singaporean club Lion City Sailors 7-2 and Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim 4-1.
Yet Park believes in a different outcome for Vietnam, who will play with their best players.
"Dortmund are a famous club but we want to get the best result possible," he added.
Park said the game will be a chance for new players to prove themselves.
"The team have many experienced players, but I want to test some new players in new roles to see how they adapt."
Dortmund coach Edin Terzic expressed caution about the game.
"I have watched a few games of Vietnam. Their players are confident. It will not be easy for Dortmund players in this game. Anything can happen, like Germany's defeat to Japan [at World Cup's group stage] last week," he said.

Borussia Dortmund, established in 1909, have won eight Bundesliga titles, a UEFA Champions League and a European Super Cup. Their stadium, Signal Iduna Park, is the largest in Germany.
Dortmund are well-known for turning young talents into superstars like Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and especially Erling Haaland.
For the Vietnam exhibition game, which will be played in Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium from 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dortmund brought captain Marco Reus, Mats Hummels and Emre Can.
The game will be reported live on VnExpress International.
