Coach Worrawoot Srimaka hasn't lost a game with U23 Thailand when facing Vietnam and Malaysia, two of their opponents in group C of U23 Asian Cup.

Under Worrawoot, Thailand won both encounters against Vietnam: 2-0 in the 2016 Nations Cup and 3-0 in the 2017 SEA Games.

Worrawoot’s Thailand are also a nightmare to Malaysia when they won four and drew one in five encounters, at the 2016 Nations Cup, 2017 Dubai Cup, 2018 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers, 2017 SEA Games and 2022 U23 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Thailand only lost against the remaining team in group C, South Korea. The two teams clashed in the exhibition tournament 2018 Alpine Cup, where South Korea won 4-2.

During his management career, Worrawoot helped Thailand claim the 2017 SEA Games gold medal, 2016 Nations Cup and 2016 Dubai Cup. In SEA Games 31, Thai national team coach Mano Polking took over the U23 team before returning the position to Worrawoot in U23 Asian Cup.

The 2022 U23 Asian Cup will take place in Uzbekistan from June 1 to 19. In this tournament, Thailand are in group C with Vietnam, South Korea and Malaysia.

They will face Vietnam in the opening game on June 2, which will start at 10 p.m. (Hanoi time) and be reported live on VnExpress International.
