Chick-flick 'Bay Ngot Ngao' (Naked Truth) will hit movie theaters in the U.S. starting April 22.

The production company says the film will be first distributed across 50 cinemas.

'Naked Truth' tells the story of four friends who reunite after a long time, on the wedding anniversary of Camy, a member of the group. At the reunion, the group's private secrets are gradually revealed. After learning that Camy experiences domestic violence, the group tries to help her get out of the abusive relationship.

The film stars Quoc Truong, Minh Hang, Bao Anh, Dieu Nhi, and Thuan Nguyen.

It has an 18+ classification for explicit sexual violence, among others.

Debuted in local theaters in mid-February, 'Naked Truth' is presently the most successful film in the Vietnam market so far this year, grossing VND82 billion (over $3.5 million).

The movie reportedly cost VND20 billion to make.
