A topless photo of Vietnamese diva Hong Nhung at the ongoing "Giot Nuoc Roi Tren Kinh" (The Rolling Droplet On the Glass) exhibition has left viewers with strong impressions.

The photo, taken by her German boyfriend Gerhard Heusch, an architect, was captured in the morning at the couple’s Paris apartment. Nguyen Gia Phong, representative of the exhibition organizer, said the photo emphasized the "intimate" beauty of the relationship between the model and the photographer.

The monochrome effect also contributed to delivering meaning to the audience.

Heusch didn’t make use of studio lights, but instead used natural light to capture the authentic and unfiltered expressions.

"The architect’s point of view, the monochrome effect, and the close relationship between the model and the photographer all created an appealing moment," said Phong.

"It’s her shoulder that made the photo special," Phong pointed out. "The angle was well-chosen, highlighting the womanly aspect of the singer."

He also noted that the event organizer originally hesitated to include the topless photo, but decided to show it in the end.

Miss Vietnam 1992 Ha Kieu Anh said she was impressed with the singer’s natural and comfortable facial expressions shown in the photo.

Hong Nhung and Heusch have been dating for several years. The singer shared that they had a lot of things in common, especially regarding aesthetics.

Organized in Ho Chi Minh City from April 1-30, the exhibition also features backstage photos at Hong Nhung’s concert "Bong La Ai" ("Who Is Bong"), which took place in the Hanoi Opera House last month. These photos were taken by photographers Tran Thanh Thao, Nguyen Duc Quan, Pham Ngoc Thanh, and Vu Manh Tuan.

Hong Nhung, whose full name is Le Hong Nhung, was born in 1970. She launched her singing career in the 1980s, and rose to stardom after singing songs composed by Vietnamese veteran musicians including Trinh Cong Son, Duong Thu, Tran Tien, Phu Quang, Quoc Trung, and Thanh Tung.

Her most representative albums include "Doan Khuc Thu Ha Noi" (A Short Song For Autumns In Hanoi) in 1997, "Bai Hat Ru Cho Anh" (The Lullaby For You) in 1998, "Ngay Khong Mua" (A Day Without Rain) in 2002, "Thuo Bong La Nguoi" (When Bong Was Human) in 2003, "Khu Vuon Yen Tinh" (A Quiet Garden) in 2004.

In late 2017, she came back with an album containing songs about Hanoi "Pho A Pho Oi" (Street, Oh Street). In 2020, she released the CD "Tuoi Tho Toi" (My Childhood), which included several famous songs for children, such as "Ngay Dau Tien Di Hoc" (The First Day To School), "Chu Ech Con" (The Baby Frog), and "Dem Sao" (Counting Stars).
