HipHopDX, an online hip hop magazine, applauded the "Million Dollar Boy" music video of Vietnamese rapper 16 Typh in an article published earlier this week.

"'Million Dollar Boy' merges the artist’s affinity for music and fashion with a dreamy and eccentric music video," the publication wrote.

His video also featured many local upcoming rappers and 16 Typh surrounded by diamonds and other precious jewels, it stated.

The video has raked in over 1.16 million views as well as 50,000 likes and over 3,000 comments on YouTube after its release on Aug. 15.

This is the rapper's second track after debuting in Vietnam’s biggest hip hop crew, SpaceSpeakers.

Dropped on Aug. 4, the music video for "Luat Rung" (Law Of The Jungle) currently boasts over 2.3 million YouTube views.

16 Typh, real name Pham Hoang Hai, is a 28-year-old rapper from northern Hai Phong City. He rose to fame after participating in the first season of Rap Viet, a reality show that seeks to unearth talented rappers. However, he was outed after the 11th episode.
