T&T Group, World Steel commence trade center construction in Dak Nong

Dak Mil Trade Center invested by Vegetable Import and Export JSC, a member unit of T&T Group, started construction in Dak Nong Province on Wednesday.

With a total investment of nearly VND645 billion ($27.88 million), the project promises to become a modern commercial, service and entertainment center, integrating the most synchronous and classy utility system in Dak Nong Province to date.

World Steel is set to act as general project contractor.

Dak Mil Trade Center will cover more than 7,500 square meters in Dak Mil Town of the namesake district. The project will include a commercial center, shopping mall, event area, along with cinemas, restaurants, cafes, gyms and hotels, all of international standard.

Once complete, the center will integrate top business and accommodation services from across Dak Nong Province and the Central Highlands. It is expected to enter operation in the third quarter of 2022.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Tran Xuan Hai, standing vice chairman of Dak Nong People's Committee, said: "Dak Nong identifies this project as having strategic significance. After completion, it would have a positive impact on local life, economics, culture, society and tourism."

According to Nguyen Anh Tuan, deputy general director of T&T Group, the company aims to boost Dak Nong's socio-economic development.

Nguyen Khanh Lam, chairman and general director of World Steel Construction JSC, shared his joy at partnering with T&T Group, one of the largest private corporations in Vietnam, in the project, set to add value to Dak Mil District.
