Vietnam gasoline prices Thursday afternoon rose to the highest since July 1 as global rates hiked.

The popular fuel RON95 went up 1.34% to VND20,360.

Biofuel E5 RON92 increased 1.59% to VND19,770.

Diesel gained 2.51% to VND18,350.

The global oil market in the past seven days has been impacted by several factors, including the U.S. increasing tariffs on imports from India, and intensified conflict between Ukraine and Russia, targeting each other's energy infrastructure, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

RON95 went up 1.6% to $81.3 per barrel while diesel increased 2.9% to $85.9.
