Greenfeed launches new meat product for traditional wet markets

Greenfeed has introduced Mamachoice, a clean meat product without banned additives, as it reaches the milestone of 100 stores across six provinces.

Mamachoice is derived from its exclusive breeding pigs GF24 (Camborough 48), fed with clean bran without banned additives to increase lean muscle growth according to ISO 22000 standards in line with Greenfeed’s efficient livestock production system.

The GF24 breeding pigs are imported from leading U.S. pig breeding company, Pig Improvement Company (PIC). Thanks to PIC’s gene marking technology, GF24 pigs carry the dominant genes for high quality meat that satisfies the tastes of Vietnamese consumers.

Mamachoice pork is tender, sweet and meaty. Consumers can now feel relieved when buying branded meat products at wet markets, a Greenfeed representative said.

In partnership with Mamachoice, Truc, owner of Tri Truc meat store in Long Tho market, Dong Nai Province, said: I'm pleased with its high lean and low fat meat with small bones. Customers are happy to consume the delicious, nutritious pork so they often return to the store to buy the branded products.

Mamachoice also provides a new solution for consumers, farmers and suppliers in the clean food ecosystem. The brand opens up the consumption market for farms adopting Greenfeed’s livestock production solutions related to animal nutrition, breeding, barns, livestock management, biosecurity and veterinary medicine.

Commenting on market potential, the representative said the company would quickly distribute the new brand nationwide.

The move will help more Vietnamese consumers easily access safe and tasty meat across the region. At the same time, it will facilitate farms to adopt Greenfeed's effective livestock solutions to thrive in the future, he said.
