Kieu Le Khanh An from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School in the central province of Nghe An, who holds an IELTS score of 8.0 and awards from provincial and national English competitions, secured BUV's "The Founders" scholarship.
Choosing to study finance at BUV instead of going abroad, An said staying in Vietnam allows her to stay close to family while gaining deeper insights into the domestic financial market. She believes BUV's learning environment will equip her with the skills and experience needed to become a successful risk manager contributing to Vietnam's sustainable economic development.
"As a premature baby who has faced many health challenges, I aspire to establish a nonprofit to support preterm infants. An international, dynamic, and diverse learning environment like BUV will prepare me well to realize this dream," she said.
Nguyen Khoa Dang from Bac Ninh Specialized High School in the northern province, recipient of the "The British Ambassador" scholarship, also expressed confidence that BUV offers an ideal environment for his international academic ambitions.
"BUV values dynamism and creativity, offering an academic system aligned with U.K. standards and international-grade facilities. This lets me experience an international environment without studying abroad," Dang said.

Her mother, Thuy Linh, initially considered overseas study but, after researching BUV, recognized it as a university with internationally standardized academics and strong support for student development.

The rising number of top specialized school students choosing BUV scholarships reflects growing trust in the university's international-quality education and a shift in mindset among students and parents.
This trend shows that international learning no longer necessarily means going abroad. Families increasingly choose high-quality academic environments within Vietnam that offer global standards, international opportunities, and are better suited financially, culturally, psychologically, and for long-term goals.
British University Vietnam is Vietnam's first QS 5-star university and the first in Vietnam and ASEAN accredited by QAA, the U.K.'s leading higher education quality assurance agency. BUV's programs stay current with industry trends, blending theory and practice to ensure 100% graduate employability or further study within three months of graduation.
