The vouchers will be available from Tuesday through Oct. 31 to families with a monthly household income per person of S$1,800 or lower, The Straits Times reported.
This marks the second stage of the scheme, with the first round issued last month to about 300,000 households.
For the latest round, eligible households that did not receive a voucher earlier, as well as those seeking additional assistance, including those not meeting the income requirement, can submit their applications online or in person at their local community centers and clubs.
The vouchers can be used to top up fare cards or buy monthly passes, and can be redeemed until March 31, 2027, according to Mothership.
They are meant to help lower-income families offset an increase in public transport fares that took effect last month, per Channel News Asia.
Accordingly, the basic bus and train card fares per trip for adults in the city-state rose by 9-10 cents, or around 5%, based on distance. Express bus services surcharge was also raised for the first time.
Besides the vouchers, the price of monthly passes was also reduced by 5% for adults, seniors and people with disabilities to support frequent public transport users.
