Media giant Yeah1 Group has forked out another $1.55 million to acquire U.S. digital media network Thoughtful Media Group’s Thai subsidiary.

Thoughtful Thailand is expected to contribute $2-3 million to Yeah1’s revenues in the first year and $6-7 million after two years, according to Yeah1 Group

This is Yeah1’s second acquisition this month. On January 10 it paid $20 million to buy ScaleLab, a Hollywood-based MCN that partners with famous YouTube names such as Jake Paul, Jimmy Donaldson, Mariale Marrero, Erika Costell, Katie Angel, and others.

Last year it had bought two other MCN companies, SPRINGme of Thailand and Something Big of France.

Thoughtful Media Group (TMG) is a multi-channel network that supports YouTube content creators around the world.

It launched its Thai operations in 2015, when it had already signed more than 300 channels and was delivering nearly 75 million views per month on YouTube. It is now one of the biggest multi-channel networks in Thailand.

The system connects brands with consumers through a network of thousands of content creators in areas such as fashion, beauty, games, cooking, car repair, and tourism.

Founded in 2006 Yeah1 is Vietnam's largest multi-channel media ecosystem with TV channels, movie studios, YouTube networks, and digital news.

It was also the first media company to list when it got on board the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange last June.
