Ho Anh Minh, 30, the oldest son of Techcombank chairman Ho Hung Anh, owns shares in the lender worth VND13.2 trillion.

Minh is also the CEO of Masterise Group, a property developer affiliated with Techcombank and owns a 10% stake in the company, which has a charter capital of more than VND35 trillion.
One sister, Ho Thuy Anh, 24, owns a similar stake in Techcombank, while their younger sister, Ho Minh Anh, has shares worth VND5.5 trillion.
By law, no individual may own more than 5% of a credit institution, and so shares are held in family members’ names to retain control.
Nguyen Thien Huong Jenny, 30, owns VND2.2 trillion worth of shares of Asia Commercial Bank, in which her mother Ngo Thu Thuy is a major shareholder.
Thuy and related parties hold 3.9% of the bank’s charter capital.
She is closely associated with Au Lac, a major shipping and oil transport firm and once a shareholder of Eximbank.
Another wealthy young individual is Do Vinh Quang, 30, son of lender SHB’s chairman, Do Quang Hien. Quang owns shares worth VND2.1 trillion in the bank and serves as chairman of Hanoi Football Club and Vietravel Airlines.
Trinh Thi Mai Anh, 33, daughter of OCB’s chairman Trinh Van Tuan, is on the bank’s board with shares worth VND1 trillion.
Ngo Chi Trung Johnny, 23, son of VPBank chairman Ngo Chi Dung, owns shares worth VND2.1 trillion in the lender.
In steel, Tran Vu Minh, son of Hoa Phat Group chairman Tran Dinh Long, has holdings worth VND5.1 trillion. Nguyen Duc Anh, 30, Vietnam’s youngest corporate chairman and nephew of Thanh Cong Group’s Nguyen Anh Tuan, leads DSC Securities with assets of about VND3 trillion. His family empire spans automobiles, services, and finance.
Other notable next-gen figures include Tran Phuong Ngoc Ha, daughter of jewelry chain PNJ chairwoman Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, and Dang Nguyen Quynh Anh, daughter of property developer Kinh Bac City’s chairman Dang Thanh Tam. Both are among a rising class of heirs under 35 holding assets in the hundreds or thousands of billions of dong (VND100 billion = US$3.78 million).
