Honda Vietnam has reported that its motorbike and automobile sales for September fell by 11.4% and 52.8% year-on-year, respectively.

Its motorbike sales amounted sold 163,787 units last month and nearly 1.03 million units from April to September 2025, a 0.2% dip from a year ago, according to its recent business report. Its fiscal year starts in April and ends the following March.

It also exported 17,066 completely built-up (CBU) units to various markets, maintaining its position as one of Vietnam’s leading motorbike manufacturers and exporters.

The company noted that despite the overall decline, its best-selling models, including the Vision, Wave Alpha, Air Blade and SH Mode, continued to attract consumers thanks to their stylish designs, fuel efficiency and consistent quality.

In September, Honda Vietnam sold 1,704 automobiles, a 52.8% plunge compared to the same month last year. Nonetheless, sales for the April-September period rose 1.8% year-on-year to 11,745 units.
