The assistant had purportedly taken S$10,000 in cash from her son's red packets, Singaporean outlet Mothership quoted Kim as saying in a TikTok livestream on Tuesday.
She noted that the same employee had also been caught driving the company car while drunk and had repeatedly used the company card for personal expenses on multiple occasions, each costing thousands of dollars.
Kim said she confronted the employee but gave another chance due to their long working relationship. She later checked her office safe, which the staff knew the password to, only to find some luxury items and cash missing.
A police report has been filed, and the employee has since been dismissed, Lim said, adding, "I was too trusting as usual, right?"

This is not the first time this year that Kim has reported stolen luxury items.
In May, she said in an Instagram story that a woman had taken a luxury handbag by posing as its buyer, The Straits Times reported.
The bag had previously been sold through a livestream where Kim offloaded several items from her collection, including high-end handbags from brands such as Chanel and Dior, for charity. She reportedly filed a police report following the incident.
Kim, 33, is the daughter of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim who is renowned for his ventures in healthcare, property and sports.
Forbes estimated Peter’s net worth at US$2 billion as of Oct. 24. It previously ranked him 32nd among Singapore’s wealthiest individuals in September.
As a well-known socialite, Kim has over 600,000 followers on her Instagram, where she often shares photos of her lavish lifestyle. She also leverages her fame to build several businesses, including skincare brand Illumiaskin and hair treatment service Papilla Haircare.
